Cinco de Mayo

This is a much overdue posting!  Ahhh Cinco de Mayo has come and gone and we made sure to celebrate the "holiday" the "American" way!  With much anticipation to this day, more so for me as there are only a handful of Mexican restaurants in Singapore and they are quite over priced, so we have waited for an excuse to have to eat Mexican for almost a year!  Nothing like a few good fajitas, tacos and carnitas to start of our May!!  Someday, I will need to open a taco bell or Taco del Mar or Chipotle here......it's got to make some $$$, I know that our friends would at least be our top customers!  Oh how I crave fast food Tex-Mex!

Dinner was located at Viva Mexcio, which is an adorable shophouse restaurant!  Shophouses are the heritage buildings in Singapore. Most are about 100 years old and were once used as market shops with the owners living above there stalls.  They are so cute and hopefully, one day, Jamie and I can live in one!! Oh to dream!
